Dan Brown

CEO / Founder

Dan is a highly accomplished, goal-driven, and seasoned executive in the areas of sales and marketing, corporate development, market strategy, business development, client acquisition and strategic business planning. He has more than 25 years of experience in building businesses, teams, and corporate strategies from the ground-up.

Dan was CEO of Sensor Platforms Inc from 2010 until its acquisition by Audience Inc in 2014. Before that he was Technology Partner at Arrowpath Venture Partners for 10 years, where he led the investment in Sensor Platforms. Previously he has been VP of Engineering, of Marketing and of Business Development for companies such as Ceon, CenterPoint Broadband, Mayan Networks, First World Communications and British Telecom.

Dr. Kevin Shaw

CTO / Founder

Kevin is a lifelong entrepreneur with deep experience in startups, semiconductors, business development, product development and team building. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) from Cornell University, a Masters in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and 30 U.S. Patents in MEMS and algorithms. He is Adjunct Faculty at Singularity University for MEMS, Sensors and Internet of Things (IoT).

Kevin was CTO of Sensor Platforms Inc from 2009 until its acquisition by Audience in 2014. Before that he established the Sensor Algorithms team and ran Business Development. He co-founded his first company soon after college (sold in 2004) and worked at Kionix Inc, a MEMS semiconductor foundry as its 3rd employee (acquired in 2000).

Alex Zhdankin

VP of Engineering

Alex is a network and software engineer with 25 years’ experience working in both established firms and startups. He has deep experience leading teams for large distributed and mission critical systems. His systems have been deployed in commercial companies and government organizations domestically and across the globe, including the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Defense.

Prior to Ai2, Alex worked at Cisco Systems where he designed and led the redesign of the device/network programmability stack, which is now being shipped on 2 million devices every year. Before that he was Chief Software Architect at Harris Corporation’s Network Management Business Unit, where he led industry-wide standardization efforts on information modeling and management APIs in the areas of Telecommunications and IT management.

Alex has a Masters of Electrical Engineering degree from Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University in Russia, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1994. He holds a number of US and International Patents.

Martyn Ansell

Chief Financial Officer

Martyn Ansell joined Algorithmic Intuition as Chief Financial Officer in November 2021. He has over 30 years of financial and operational experience and is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and executing on the company’s financial strategy.

Prior to joining Algorithmic Intuition Mr. Ansell was the CFO at California Brazing, a Newark, CA based company providing brazing and machining services to the semiconductor and aerospace & defense industries.

Prior to joining California Brazing, Mr. Ansell spent 7 years as the CFO at Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company based in San Jose, CA. Molecular Devices develops and manufactures equipment used in drug research & development by pharmaceutical companies, research institutes and universities.

In addition, Mr. Ansell spent over 6 years as the CFO of Vistec Semiconductor Systems, a global leader in the development and manufacture of metrology & inspection and electron-beam lithography equipment for the semiconductor industry. He also spent over 12 years at Applied Materials, a manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment, where he held a number of senior financial management positions. Mr. Ansell has also held positions at Coopers & Lybrand, in San Jose, California and Ernst & Young in Bristol, England.

Mr. Ansell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance with Honors, from the Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, England and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Ansell is from London, England and resides in Reno, Nevada.

Eric Llewelyn

Chief Compliance Officer

An experienced and accomplished Quality & Regulatory Affairs professional with over 25 years of demonstrated experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Eric brings a proven track record of excellence in developing personnel and highly proficient Quality Management Systems. Exceptionally knowledgeable in standards relating to Medical Devices sterilization, Laboratory Science, cGMP, Quality Management, and ISO Standards. A proven background working with the Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control, National Institutes of Occupational Health, Notified Bodies, and foreign regulatory agencies 

Bryan Chan

Sr Vice President, Development

Bryan is an experienced and accomplished R&D leader with over 30 years of technical and management leadership experience in both medical device and consumer product industries.

Bryan comes most recently from Docbot, where he served as Vice President of Engineering, and led their development of Artificial Intelligence Software as a Medical Device in detecting Gastrointestinal diseases. Prior to Docbot, Bryan held various leadership roles in Miso Robotics, Biolux Research, Bigfoot Biomedical and CNet. Prior to joining these organizations, Bryan co-founded Vasona Labs with his business partner to develop mesh sensor network technology to manage outdoor lighting.

Bryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Kansas, and Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University. Bryan holds a number of US patents.
